If you are looking for the Park Hotel Pacchiosi, it has changed identity. The same building at Strada del Quartiere 4 now trades as the Grand Hotel di Parma, a five-star in UNA Italian Hospitality's UNA Esperienze collection. Booking.com still files it under its old Pacchiosi address. UNA describes 59 rooms and suites in Palazzo Vighi, an early 20th-century building set in a large garden.
It is expensive on busy dates. The public superior double on Booking.com was €394 room only for October 14, 2026, and €249 for November 11. Breakfast is €20 per person. Add €5 per adult per night in city tax.

What changed from the Pacchiosi
The Pacchiosi name is still what many older listings and maps show. The building now sells as a five-star under UNA, with the same street address, the garden, a restaurant and room service. Booking.com's description still refers to rooms "at the Park Hotel", which tells you the rename is recent enough for listings to lag. If you booked the Pacchiosi through an old link, you are in the right place.
Rooms have high ceilings, marble bathrooms with bathrobes, minibars and coffee machines. The smallest category on sale, the superior room, was 25 square metres; junior suites were 45 square metres. One detail from the Booking.com fine print: air conditioning runs only from May 20 to September 30.

These are Booking.com's public prices. Signed-in Genius members were shown a 23% late-booking discount on October 14 (€301 room only). On both dates the flexible rate with breakfast was cheaper than the non-refundable one with breakfast, so read every line before you pay.

Parking and location
UNA lists an indoor garage and pitches it as a way to avoid hunting for a space in the old town. It does not publish the price, so ask when you book. Strada del Quartiere is not in any ZTL in the city's 2024 ordinance, which makes arrival by car simple.
The hotel is west of the river, in the Oltretorrente side of town. UNA gives the city centre as 2 km and the station as 3.3 km by road. On foot, OpenStreetMap routes put the Ponte di Mezzo at 12 minutes, Piazza Garibaldi at 17 minutes (1.28 km) and Piazza Duomo at 22 minutes. The station is 26 minutes on foot; take a taxi with luggage.
Who it suits
Couples on a special-occasion trip by car, who want a garden, big rooms and five-star service, and will use the garage to reach the castles and the Food Valley. Wedding and event guests: UNA markets the garden for ceremonies, parties and presentations, and the building has two meeting rooms.
If you are on foot, the same budget buys a suite on Piazza Duomo at Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati on many dates.
