Trattoria Antichi Sapori

The menu changes with the season, and the trattoria's own website could not be read when this page was checked, so the list below combines the Michelin write-up with a dated 2023 review. Ask for the day's list.

• Anolini of donkey stracotto in beef and capon broth, a local twist on anolini in brodo.
• Cured meats: prosciutto aged over 30 months, culatello di Zibello, and a mixed board with house giardiniera.
• A caramelized onion tart credited to chef Davide Oldani, trippa alla parmigiana, stuffed punta di vitello.
• A Parmigiano Reggiano flight that in 2023 ran from 30 to 101 months, with pear mostarda.
• The gelato, churned by hand, with mascarpone and croccante.

No current price list was available online on September 29, 2026. The most recent itemized prices come from a Scatti di Gusto review published in May 2023: tortelli €12, donkey anolini €13, prosciutto €13, culatello €16, punta di vitello and quail €14, desserts €8–€10, and a bill of about €32 a head. Prices have probably risen since, but Michelin's € band in 2026 still puts it among the cheapest listed tables in the province.

The trattoria is 8.6 km (5.3 miles) by road from Piazza Garibaldi, about 13 minutes by car on an OSRM route. Michelin notes parking and a terrace. There is no practical walking route; a taxi each way is the alternative to driving. If you are renting a car for the Torrechiara castle or the Parma hills, Gaione is on the way south, and lunch here fits a castle morning.

Within the municipality of Parma, Michelin gives four trattorie a 2026 Bib Gourmand. Antichi Sapori and Ai Due Platani are the countryside pair; I Tri Siochètt is the big, cheap family option; Brisla, on Strada Farini, is the one you can walk to. Antichi Sapori is the quieter, more personal of the four, with the owner running the room.

Summer weekends and Sunday lunch fill with Parma families; a weekday lunch is the easiest table. The trattoria describes its menus as seasonal, so the dishes above will rotate.
